Mark was born and raised in Henderson. He started his current career here as he wanted to have a business that would allow him to serve and live in his community. Mark has worked in several non-profits and served as president in three locally. One of the constant issues he noticed was a lack of funding and awareness. He has noticed professionally that many have the ability to give, yet lack direction in how and where to give. It is Mark’s desire is to raise the awareness among those able to better serve others in our community. Mark has worked as a Certified Financial Planner for 34 years and currently a partner in Weaver, Dalton and Associates with offices in Henderson and Marion, Kentucky, as well as Haubstaudt, Indiana. Mark is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy and the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He has a Certified Financial Planning Designation. Mark is a member of the Ameriprise Hall of Fame, a career award accomplished by less than one tenth of one percent of advisors in the 110-year history of the company. Mark has served the Harbor House Men’s Shelter as past president, Marsha’s Place as past president, a past board member of Henderson Community College Foundation Board, One Life Network president, One Life Elder’s President, Lindsey Wilson College executive board and the Henderson Community Foundation Board. Mark is married to Cindy Lou Weaver and they are members of One Life. They have two adult sons, Jesse and Warren. Jesse and his wife Jolene live in Texas with their two daughters, Savannah Ray and Scarlet Rose. Warren currently works as an architect in Austin.
