Chamber to hear about Partnership of Women

Representatives of POW! (Partnership of Women) will present the new organization’s concept at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s next Brown Bag Series lecture next Monday.

The presentation will show how area women can pool their financial resources and have a significant positive impact on local nonprofit organizations.

Founders of the Henderson POW! will be on hand along with Carol Pace, program officer of the Vanderburgh County Community Foundation, to explain the benefits a similar organization in Evansville has had in that community in a short time.

The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Monday in the chamber office at 230 Second St., Suite 320.

Brown Bag Series lectures are free for chamber members, who can bring their lunch with them or call the chamber to have a lunch arranged for them.

For reservations or more information, contact the chamber at 826-9531 or info@hendersonchamber.org.
