COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF HENDERSON OPENS GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM UNRESTRICTED COMMUNITY FUND

POSTMARK DEADLINE FEBRUARY 15, 2020

January 2, 2020 (Henderson, Ky) – Officials from The Community Foundation of Henderson County (CFH) has opened applications for $20,000 in grants to Henderson non-profits and another $5,000 to aid specifically with grant writing services for a local non-profit. The grant funding comes from the earnings of the endowed CFH Unrestricted Community Fund.

“Not only does this grant process help forward the good work of area non-profits, but it also further validates those who contribute to the endowed CFH Unrestricted Community Fund as their gift continues to give to our community in perpetuity — long after we are all gone,” said Mark Weaver, CFH President.

Grants will be awarded as they relate to one or more of four pillars of the Community Foundation of Henderson which are– EDUCATING, CARING, INSPIRING, and IMPROVING.

The deadline for postmarked or emailed applications is Saturday, February 15, 2020. No hand deliveries will be accepted.
