Arts Education Fund Endowment
The Arts Education Fund Endowment supports programs, projects and educational opportunities that inspire creativity and expand access to the arts in Henderson. Through grants that foster visual arts, music, theater, dance, literature and other creative disciplines, the fund helps enrich lives, encourage lifelong learning and strengthen our community. Your gift creates a permanent source of support for arts education, ensuring future generations have opportunities to learn, create and thrive.
Brain Injury Adventure Camp Endowment
The Brain Injury Adventure Camp (BIAC) believes every individual deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, build confidence and experience adventure. Through adaptive outdoor camps and recreational programs for children and adults with brain injuries, disabilities and other special needs, BIAC creates meaningful experiences that encourage personal growth, independence and connection. Supported entirely by volunteers and the generosity of donors, every gift helps provide unforgettable opportunities that empower campers to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Habitat for Humanity Endowment
An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International of Americus, GA. organized in 1990 by the Henderson Ministerial Association, to date 50 Henderson County families live in safe, decent homes they can afford to call their own. Each of these households has partnered with volunteers from all across the community to help build the house which they purchased when construction was finished for the costs of the lot acquisition, building materials and title transfer. Habitat adds no profit margin and finances the twenty-five year mortgage without an interest charge.
Each of Habitat’s houses have been built by volunteers from community churches, businesses, corporations and civic groups dedicated to helping improve Henderson’s quality of housing for people working at the lower end of the wage scale. Individuals and teams are welcomed to join in the effort, contributing their time, expertise, sweat and resources to alleviate and replace substandard, unsafe, overcrowded living conditions with simple, decent shelter for households who cannot otherwise qualify for conventional mortgage financing. A private, nonprofit animal welfare organization, caring for more than 2,400 animals each year. Father Bradley Shelter for Women and Children Endowment
The Father Bradley Shelter for Women and Children provides a safe, supportive place where women and children experiencing homelessness can rebuild their lives. Through temporary housing, personalized case management, employment assistance and connections to community resources, families gain the stability and confidence needed to achieve long-term independence. Your donation helps provide safe shelter, nutritious meals, essential supplies and compassionate care while offering hope and opportunity for a brighter future.
St. Anthony’s Hospice Endowment
