A proud Henderson County native, Chris has long been committed to strengthening his community. As one of the original eight members of the Henderson Leadership Initiative team, he played a pivotal role in founding the Community Foundation of Henderson, later serving as President of its Board of Directors.
After a brief three-year stint in North Carolina, Chris returned home with a renewed passion for civic engagement. He currently serves as the Senior Facility Manager at Columbia Sportswear Company. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Design and an MBA from Murray State University.
Chris’s dedication to service is reflected in his extensive volunteer leadership. He has held multiple roles—including Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President—on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Henderson County. As a Henderson Leadership Initiative Fellow, he continues to champion local causes and lend his expertise to a wide range of organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Henderson Recreation Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Red Cross, Rotaract, and the Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.
Chris and his wife, Tara—also a Henderson native—are proud parents to two daughters, Isabella and Sophia.
