
John Wilkey
John moved to Henderson in January 1989, opening Edward Jones Investments that same year. According to John, serving on a board such as the Community Foundation of Henderson allows him the opportunity to give back to his community that has given him and his family so much over the years. He wants to aid others on how they too can give back and further grow Henderson. John is an Edward Jones financial advisor and an accredited asset management specialist. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University with double majors in agriculture and statistics and a Masters of Science degree from Texas Tech in agriculture. John is an Edward Jones Limited Partner and has received the Jack Phelan Production Award, the Ed Armstrong Achievement Award and numerous Edward Jones Client Service Excellence Awards. John is the current president of Henderson Community College (HCC) Foundation, current HCC board of directors and in 2010, he received the HCC Presidents Award. He is a past Henderson Rotary Club president; past member board member of Junior Achievement and past board member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. John has additionally served as a volunteer with Boy Scouts and coaching youth sports. John’s wife is Patricia Wilkey and they have two adult children, Ryan Scott Wilkey and Lissa Wilkey Turner. They also have one grandson, Jonah Riley Turner. Their family attends Wellspring Assembly of God Church.
